It has been cold—soooooo cold in the truck. Somehow when it drops below 40 degrees the truck just doesn't want to hold a reasonable temperature. Even with two ovens and a heater on we find ourselves shivering and holding our hands over a cracked oven door. But it's wonderful to stand in the truck, watching the almost snowflakes sailing airly down.

This last week I started making waffles. It's an exciting addition. Week one was a simple buttermilk waffle, now I'm on to an oatmeal waffle with cinnamon, nutmeg and cardamom.

Bread Pudding!!!!!

I adore bread pudding. It might be one of my favorite things—although I feel that way about a lot of absolutely delectable treats… especially if they have warm brandy sauce poured over the top. We've been serving it at the truck lately, probably until something else steals my fancy away…

But I've got a hint for all those of you who stop by and read this blog… Brandy sauce over pumpkin pie. That's it: BRANDY SAUCE over PUMPKIN PIE!!!
